Its aroma is gentle and fragrant, with notes of sugar-coated biscuits, cherry menthol, and juicy berries. On the palate, red fruits linger alongside soft fruits and a hint of burnt oak, balanced by sweet spice.

What are the tasting notes of Taketsuru 25 Year Old?

Nose: The aroma is intensely tropical, immediately revealing a medley of fruits from sunny regions, especially mango and passion fruit. Moreover, rich notes of orange marmalade, pipe tobacco, and the earthy scent of a wine cellar with subtle hints of mold add depth. After a few moments, savory broth emerges, along with a touch of woodsmoke and a faint background of peat. Altogether, it’s a wonderfully complex aroma.
