This Noh Karuizawa 1984 30 Year Old expression is an incredibly rare Japanese whisky that matured for 30 years in a single sherry cask. In 2014, the distillery limited it to just 279 bottles, releasing it solely for the Japanese market. The single cask collection showcases distinct styles of Noh masks from traditional Japanese performance arts. Notably, the artwork features the mask of Ko-Omote, the youngest woman in this tradition.

The Karuizawa distillery produced whisky on the southern slopes of Mount Asama from 1955 until its closure in 2001. However, independent bottler Number One Drinks has since released valuable single malts from their storage. As a result, the diminishing supply has made this whisky one of the world’s most sought-after single malts.
